We met the modern way — online — but our first date was anything but typical. We drove out to a tiny bar in the middle of the desert and spent hours talking like we’d known each other forever. From that night on, it just clicked. It wasn’t long before 10 p.m. breakfasts, late-night drives to work, and early morning pickups became our favorite rituals.

A bit about your journey together: Our story has taken us from the high desert to the San Diego coast, across time zones and schedules, from Emmy awards to a deployment to Australia. Along the way, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, road trips, sunrise coffees, and late-night fast food. We’ve cheered each other on through career changes, celebrated small moments, and stayed up way too late watching bad cop shows and talking about the future. Now, we're so excited to begin this next chapter together — surrounded by our closest family and friends — on a little island in Italy that already feels like magic.

Thomas planned the perfect proposal at Kylie’s aunt and uncle’s flower farm in Livermore — the town where she grew up. With the help of her family, he transformed the farm’s cozy cocktail cabin into a candlelit haven filled with flowers. Surrounded by blooms and love, Thomas got down on one knee and asked Kylie to marry him. (Spoiler alert: she said yes.)
